Being beautiful on the outside doesn’t always make you feel that way on the inside. That isn’t to say that looking your best doesn’t help, but there is usually more to it. Discover how to feel beautiful from the inside out in 11 simple steps!
We girls tend to pay a lot of attention to looking beautiful. But how about paying a little more attention to how we feel? This is something we usually forget, and it’s actually more essential than how we look. You can learn how to FEEL beautiful right here!
One of the most gorgeous and radiant women in the world, Sophia Loren has this figured out. She said:
Nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is beautiful.
How true is that?
Feeling beautiful comes so easy for some of us, while others tend to struggle with this issue. The essential thing is to remember that sometimes you need to put yourself in front of everything and everyone else. Follow these steps and start feeling more beautiful today.
1. Acquire Rid of Depraved People
Ok, we all have people in our lives that make us nervous. The question is why? Why do we keep putting up with those people? Sometimes we have to – because they are our bosses, and sometimes we feel it’s the right thing to do – because they are our family and “friends.” Well, you know what? That’s a load of crap!
You absolutely do not have to put up with anyone who makes you feel bad. You have an aunt who likes to gossip about everyone else in the family? Disclose her that you don’t want to listen to that. You have a “friend” who sucks all your positive energy out of you? Cease hanging out with them. You have a boss who annoys you? Scrutinize for a different job.
We always have a choice, and yes – we all deserve to be surrounded by people who make us feel good. So, get rid of all those who don’t.
2. Acquire Rid of Depraved Stuff
Acquire rid of all bad stuff in your life. Quit smoking, stop using drugs and at least lower the amount of alcohol you’re taking. Start a healthy diet and join a gym. Give your body a chance to regenerate and detoxify from all the bad stuff. You’ll see how instantly you’ll start feeling better.
3. Pamper Yourself
Every girl deserves a little pampering now and then. And I believe I don’t have to explain how this will make you feel more beautiful.
Book a day in a spa and do your best to relax and forget about all the problems you might have. They won’t go away of course, but you deserve to rest your mind from them for at least an hour a week, don’t you? Treat yourself with a little pampering and let someone else take care of you for a change.
4. Design Time for Yourself
Each and every one of us should try her best to make some time just for herself. What you’ll do with that time is up to you, but remember that you both need and deserve this.
This is not always an easy task, because a lot of us don’t have some time to spare. We are busy with our jobs and our families, but this is still a doable task. Read this article and find out how to make time only for you.
5. Try Something Novel
Trying something new enriches you and makes you a better person. If you want to feel beautiful, catch a chance to try something new today.
It could be anything, . You could try a new sport, or learn a new language or even simply learn a verse from your favorite song. Try new food, meet new people, enroll in a dancing class, do something you haven’t done before, no matter what it is.
6. Read Books
I hear a lot of people complaining how they don’t have enough time to read. Yeah right, but you have enough time to watch every reality show on TV. Well, turn the TV off and grab a book instead.
Books bring you new experiences, they sometimes overwhelm you and they do, believe it or not, make you feel more beautiful. But remember, it’s not just about how much you read, it’s about what you read also. If you can’t choose, maybe you could try one of these 3 inspiring books for women.
7. Buy Some Novel Clothes
Feeling good is looking good as well. So, call your best friend and go shopping. Treat yourself with some new clothes that will both make you look and feel beautiful.
You may think that if you know how you feel there’s nothing in the way you look. I understand that, because I feel that way for most of the times myself. But, even I feel good when I put some nice clothes on, and you will also. Trust me – try it!
8. Girls’ Night Out
No matter if you’re single, in a relationship or even married, a girls’ night out every now and then will surely do you good. Place some nice clothes on, call your friends and hit the town.
Let loose – talk about all the stuff you can talk about only with your girls. Dance, party, do whatever you like and whatever makes you feel good.
9. Cease and Smell the Roses
You must have heard this expression at least once. It might be a cliché, but seriously – stop and smell the roses.
You may think that you’re in a worst situation ever, but take a small distance and appreciate what it will bring you – even if it’s just an experience, potentially a life lesson. Unhurried down and pay attention to people and things that matter.
10. Acquire a Pet
There are numerous studies that people who have pets live longer and happier lives than those who don’t. Acquire a pet today. It doesn’t always have to be a dog or a cat, even a small animal, like a hamster, will make your life richer and better. If you can’t decide on which pet to get, maybe this quiz will help you.
11. Do Something Nice for Someone Else
We all know that happiness is one of the things in the world that grows when shared. Doing something nice for someone else is bringing something nice for you.
Smile at a homeless guy in the street, give your old clothes to charity or buy something for a friend you haven’t seen in a long time. Do nice things and nice things will come back to you, and that will make you feel more beautiful.
Try these things out, they might be exactly what you were looking for. Feeling beautiful is not that hard at all, you just have to want it and do a little something about it. What are the things that make you feel beautiful?
